New members

Our friendly Society has a maximum membership of 200 and we warmly welcome new members. Our membership year runs from 1 December to 30 November and the current annual membership charge is £55, with a sliding scale if you join after February. This includes ten lectures per year and the beautiful quarterly Arts Society magazine, which is full of articles, dates of exhibitions and regular features such as study days, projects, travel and Arts Society news.

We are very happy for you to come as a visitor intitially to see what we are about, which will cost £10 per lecture. Current Members

As for the current year, members will be able to process their subscription renewals for 2025/2026 online. The renewals process will be activated in the early Autumn, when a purple button "PLEASE RENEW YOUR MEMBERSHIP BY CLICKING HERE" will appear opposite. By clicking on this link, you will be obtain a full explanation of what needs to be done, including how to make payment, and the online form to complete and submit. Your renewal will be complete once we have received payment. Your Programme & Membership Card will be available for collection at the upcoming lectures.

Gift Aid

If you are able to make a Gift Aid declaration, The Arts Society is able to reclaim tax on a proportion of your subscriptions. A Gift Aid Declaration is contained within both the New Member Form and the Renewal Form.
